Ron, I hope it’s less old geezer swirl even though I’m old. I understand it’s a lot of surface area but these graphic swirls are ugly to start and stickers for crying out loud. Sheesh. I’d prefer one solid color, probably white in full body paint over stickers or swirls. I’ve seen many haulmark super c in solid white and they actually look good even with the huge surface area.
Interesting.
FYI: The only graphics on our PC are the words (PHOENIX CRUISER & .com) The 3 color graphics is paintwork. I have no idea how it is done, but it's painted with perfection. The line work is laser-like, very clean with a very smooth transition.
From the day I saw the 2007 PC brochure front cover, I thought it was great and I still love it on our PC. We really wanted the green version of the same (to coordinate with our green interior) but at the time Phoenix could not present a photograph of the green color, so we went with the safe choice gray per the 2007 front cover.
Since then, the "Ocean Surf" has gotten more and more busy. I don't mean to insult anyone here, but I don't care for it.
I always thought it would be a smart choice to get the entire house portion of the rig painted the same color white as the original factory paint of the Ford Cab. Such a full body paint job (minus the Ford van portion) should be quite affordable, and most importantly, it will hold up to the elements and look new for so many more years than raw gelcoat & plastics. It will be very easy to clean and wax and the plastics will be UV protected. Then add a few mild graphics if you so desire to add a little something to break up the all white rig. If we did not like our full body paint job, this would have been my #2 choice. Phoenix does not officially offer it, but I am sure they would come up with a nicely discounted price.
