Smart TV is smart?
« on: November 04, 2018, 08:56:40 am »
We are on our first long trip in the new PC.  Heading to South Texas for three months.   I have noticed that that when it gets dark outside, our Samsung TV picture also gets dark.  I have not searched the info provided by the TV, but thought I would ask here.  Why does my TV picture get much darker when the sun goes down?  Thanks!

Cheers  :)(:

I'd start with the menu button on the remote. Scroll through the different settings. I expect you'll find a feature such as "Night/Day",  "Auto Contrast" or "Auto Brightness". Adjust accordingly. Kind of like the "Auto Brightness" feature on many cell phones.

Luvshack....BINGO!  I went through all the menu items and finally found it under "settings".  It was set to adjust the picture based on the interior lighting.  Problem solved.  Thanks!
