That video was awesome. I would get NO sleep with that noise.

Possibly the entertainment system? (TV/DVD etc) and coming out through a speaker.  (WH)

Wonder if breaker 4 controls house battery charging. Could do it also.

I have heard similar noises when phases of power are messing up..  two frequencies coming together .... in the middle of the 'Woo' the two are almost in phase.... then the frequency match falls off quickly and then cuts off/overloads.

It sounds like the step going in and out, might have someone watch or open door and see if it makes the noise.

I did check the step and it isn't moving when I have the noise. Also when the breaker is off the step still works.

In regards to the tv dvd making the noise, the tv equipment is powered down when the breaker is off, but the noise is coming from the bathroom/kitchen. Doesn't seem to be any speakers. Also when I power down the tv equipment with the on off switch, but leave the breaker on I still have the sound.

I have three small vents in the area of the should. They are near the floor and come out of the cabinet sides. I could get a picture to download, but they are about 4 inches and louvered. Could they have a motor causing the sound. Thanks for all the help.

Even with the code, is the inverter working?

If so, does the Woo manifest itself when powering breaker 4 under inverter...?

I still wonder if breaker 4 is the house battery charger, and it is Wooo'ing. It should NOT be inverter powered, however... still guessing.

Thanks for working with me on this. I have the inverter shut off and still have the noise. The inverter code e5 is a overload condition causing to much of a power draw on the battery system. The inverter shuts it self off after a few minutes and there is no battery power. In this mode the inverter continues to show the error code and makes a beep every 1 second. We had the error code on the inverter for about a week before the woo sound started. thanks for your help and support.

I understand the inverter is off, and sound still is present while running on shore power.

I was wondering if

a) with breaker 4 on
and
b) Using the inverter for 110V (not shore power)

the 'Woo' was still present.

When you say 'breaker 4', I am assuming 110V circuit breaker.

We will assume that all breakers are connected to something. So... what might breaker 4 be?

We know it stops the 'Woo' when breaker 4 is off. This is a significant diagnostic aid.

If the 'Woo' is not present under inverter power, with breaker 4 on, that may indicate something like the house battery charger or other 110V circuit that would not run on inverter.

I will get out tomorrow and see if it woos on 110 battery power. I only get a couple of minutes of battery power before the inverter shuts it off. thanks

I checked and the woo sound doesn't seem to come on with shore power disconnected and 110 inverter on. It is a bit of a race to check because the inverter shuts off with the e5 code. The #4 breaker works the tv for sure, but doesn't control the other 110 outlets. The breaker is one of the larger ones taking two spots. Thanks

With  the shore power connected and breaker on,  the house  battery voltage should measure around 13.4v DC. If your converter/battery charger is bad it may be causing a  DC ripple or low voltage condition that is causing other DC control circuits or devices to malfunction. Hysteresis can cause all sorts  of strange troubles.

Looking at pictures of a 2910 the furnace is located where you say the noise is coming from.
If it has a  digital thermostat the controller runs on DC voltage. If the digital thermostat has its own batteries replace them too.

Ron Dittmer posted instructions for adding a coach battery voltage monitor in  the tips and tricks section. After my Parallex converter went bad I did that too, because I was unaware that  my house batteries had dropped to 11.8v  until I tried retracting the power sofa bed.

thanks for taking the time to help. I removed the heater panel and there is no noise coming from there, but also to appears that the blower fan is somewhere else. There are three ducted vents in the area of the sound, but no sign of a blower motor. The heater is off, but I guess a short may be making it come on. The inverter shows 14.4 volts, input. I checked the thermostat and it doesn't have a battery. I'm not sure where to go with it at this point. It is raining hard right now, but when I can I will check under the rv to see if there is anything. Thanks for the ideas. Rick

The converter/ battery charger running at 14.4v may indicate a  bad house battery, which correlates with your  inverter shutting itself off. A Progressive Dynamics  smart type  charger should only boost the  charging voltage when the batteries need a rapid charge. If you have a smart  charger or a failing converter, a constant and noisy (hysteresis, not audible) 14.4v may be messing with the digital thermostat. Still though, if  the thermostat display  loses the set point  when you disconnect shore power and shut off the house batteries look for  a dead battery inside the thermostat too.

Check your owners  manual packet for the furnace manual, probably Suburban, to see where the blower  motor is mounted. The smaller units are self contained box.

The  converter seems to be the root cause if only when plugged into shore power. It seems unlikely but  maybe it's messing with a slide motor controller if the furnace checks out ok.

New batteries seem to do the trick in regards to the inverter beeping and the e5 trouble code. Now I'm left with the wooing sound, with the new batteries I get the sound whether I'm on shore power or not. I will be getting under and on top of the rv tomorrow to see if I can close in on the sound. If I can't I'm ready to go to Camping World and having them take a shot at it. I want to be self-reliant with the RV, but I'm about ready to give up on this one. Thanks to everyone who gave me advise and help. You guys are great. Rick

Does turning off breaker 4 on inverter power still stop the Woo?

You're still hanging in there with me, thanks. I just checked and the sound continues without shore power off and inverter turned on. Thanks
