Whats not to like about big garages, no Gens, no Ac, short length, no microwaves, no big screens, reduced connectivity, high MPG, did I miss something??? Oh yea, engineering, thinking outside the box, simple, creative, precise,,, probably more.

Yep. We did just this, in our VW buses for years.   The biggest and best thing now is Mrs V has much more comfort and freedom. Going out back to get a snack out of the fridge while underway? New found freedom. Likewise sleeping comfortably in bed 'at speed'. ( I was just reminded that bathroom at speed is #1!! )  I now get half the mileage, but more than double the comfort IMO.  Happy Spouse Happy (mobile) House. (nod)

On a recent trip to Scotland, hiking and not RVing, I spoke with a couple from Michigan who were touring in a small RV rental.  The guy offered that he almost called it quits during the first several days.  The result of driving on the right side of the vehicle while on the left side of those impressively narrow roads.  Instead, they learned to find a location Friday afternoon, and not return to the road until Monday late morning -- at the earliest.

Volk,

Funny how the most simple things make us the most HAPPY! The ROI on the rest is very small.
