3100 Good .. Bad
« on: February 08, 2017, 01:52:53 pm »
Currently looking at a preowned (well used ) 3100.Wondering if anyone has good or bad to say about them.  Too long, under powered, wonderful, etc.
Any model years to avoid.  Have bought a few rvs used so common things are known.
Thanks.

Sign in first. From the Main Forum page, type 3100 in the search box. Hit enter. Lots of posts available for research.

I've owned a 2012 3100 since 10/16. Only made three trips before it went into storage. I haven't had it long enough to be a good resource for you.

Like the twin bed layout. Plenty of storage inside. Nice size bath. Dinette and sofa are comfortable. One slide is adequate. Opposing front slides would be better. Power is not a problem even when pulling a toad. Outside storage is very limited for larger items like chairs, tables and rugs.

Good luck with your search.

To us it's the best of all types.  We previously owned a fifth wheel and a class A gas.  This is the easiest to drive of all that we have had.  It gives you most you can get from a 31 foot vehicle.  We have always pulled a vehicle behind and had no power problems.  We will be taking it from Florida to New Jersey in May and then hopefully to Sisters, Oregon to the next PC Reunion in September.
