Shower Dimensions for 2551 or 2552 or 3100 and 2910
« on: February 04, 2017, 07:15:24 pm »
Folks,

I have searched the forum and have not been able to find the dimensions on these showers.   I'm not worried about the height.  I wish PC would put them on their documentation somewhere.   :'(

If anyone can help me I would appreciate it.

We are camping in our 2012 2551 so we measured our shower pan.  It measures like a 32 x 32 Neo Hex right drain as shown on this website

http://randgsupply.com/Warehouse/Tubshower/rv/shower/32nhpans.htm

Our door opening measures 16.5 inches.  The walls measure slightly less than the shower pan due to the construction.

I cannot say for certain, but I think the factory works with just two different shower pans.  The rectangular and the corner one.  They might also use a 3rd one which has a step inside it like a half tub, but I think it is the same dimension width and depth as the rectangle.

Would you all agree?

I agree with Ron. I saw someone mention getting the tub with the half-tub but don't know if it was an option or standard. We have the same shower as Barry and Sue so no new info to offer. Now we need the dimensions of the center-coach shower and the rear rectangular shower - they may or may not be the same size as they are put into completely different floor plans. Anybody snuggled into their Phoenix that can supply those measurements?

Thank you for measuring!

So, that must make the widest part from corner to corner about 36 inches or maybe a bit more.

Its funny how the only measurements that really matter are the distance from the door to the back (depth) and theroomiest area (width), but thise dimensions are never shown on thse things. tymote

Still intersteed in the dimensions on the rectangular shower in the 2910 and others.  I'm betting 30 x 30.

The unofficial dimensions of the shower in the 2552 is:
- wide enough corner to corner to put my arms up to wash my hair without hitting anything.
- deep enough door to corner to not hit anything when washing my body, however, "cheek" marks on the wall are possible if you have to pick something up off the floor (also try not to pop the door open with your head when you do this, it lets the cold air in and causes giggling in the shower).

Not at all. Corner to corner is key... though standing on one foot greatly increases the risk of those "cheek" marks... and laughter.

Corner to corner is 40 inches.  From the center of the door to the opposite wall is 26 inches.  Hope this helps!

Thank you!  that does help.  I visited a local RV dealer yesterday. Stood in a small Class A shower that I thought was adequate.  It was rectangular and measures 36x24.  So a neo angle with 40x26 would be a similar fit.  2o2
