Outside electric outlet
« on: November 30, 2016, 04:47:22 pm »
Guess I could ask Earl, but for some reason this seems easier. We are thinking (real hard) about a 2100. Does that come with an outside electric out on the awning side? Or is that an option?

thanks again

Jack is what we call our PC 2351D, and he has taken us from campers to RV'ers and loving it. We're no longer Team Bob. Just Jack the RV!

Cannot help with the 2100 specifically but all units I have seen have an exterior receptacle.  But I have NOT seen a 2100.  Might have to email Earl.

Yes, Gary the 2100 has the outlets   If you still have the link to the pictures of our 2100 you can see it on a couple pictures.

We highly recommend the 2100....  Fits anywhere and perfect for two people.  Our 2100 is the no slide version with a hatch for access to the storage under the fold-out sofa.  The outside outlet is conveniently located just forward of the entry door.

Hi Captain Al,

Do you have any interior pictures of your no-slide 2100?  I am very curious about your sleeping arrangements for two adults.  Please setup the interior for sleeping and take a picture.  No need for bedding.  I simply wonder how it works.  I keep trying to get my sister and her husband into a 2100, and I think they are no-slide people like me.

Hi Ron --

The no-slide version of the 2100 has the dinette and sofa reversed from the floor plan shown on the web site.  The primary sleeping area is the jack-knife sofa behind the passenger seat.  The size is bigger than a single bed and slightly narrower than a double bed.  It's cozy for two and works well for us.  When the sofa is folded out there is about 6 inches between the sofa/bed and the dinette -- just enough room to 'skinny' from the wardrobe area to the cab area.  This space is also convenient for getting up in the middle of the night for a 'head call.'

With the sofa folded out there is also a space of 4 inches or so between the bed and the outside wall.  We fill this with a loooong round bolster / pillow that works very well.

We added a hatch under the passenger side window ( approx 15 X 30 ) for access to the space under the sofa from the outside.

The dinette is smaller than on some of the larger units but very comfortable for us and has full storage under each of the seats.  If we have guests it is very convenient to have 2 or 3 at the dinette and the others seated close at hand on the sofa.

Will try to get photos  soon.
