Sway Bars

Tom ... Monroe Gas shocks installed.  I don't know that they're any better or worse than another brand.  Monroe is widely used in Western New York.  They seem to be doing a good job on the Phoenix.

Ron ... I like your "ear wax" analogy.  Your absolutely correct.

This has been quite a learning experience and I'm sure it will be one of many as I travel along.
I enjoy this forum for many reasons but especially because your getting information from individuals who own Phoenix Cruisers and not salesmen trying to talk you into buying their product.   

Kudos to Ron for his recommendations....we just had Koni RV shocks and Roadmaster Heavy Duty front and rear swaybars installed....against the advice of our RV mechanic!  Well, after testdriving before and after - our mechanic is a believer now too.  The ride is wonderful - I do not feel like I'm driving an 18 wheeler - quieter too.

Our 2551 2010 is much happier----all due to the suggestions on this list. Thanks!

I still wonder why Phoenix USA won't offer them as an optional suspension upgrade.  It seems an opportunity for them to make more money along with improved customer satisfaction.  Maybe Kermit needs to have made, two identical models side-by-side, one with and the other without the suspension upgrades.  Then take them both out for a drive on the interstate highway there on a gusty windy day.
