From Michelin's website, http://www.michelinman.com/US/en/help/do-I-need-new-tires.html
They recommend inspecting tires after 5 years and replace after 10 years. Depending on use & care.

Sun does the damage, so that's why you see many RV'rs with tire covers when they store or park for a while.

I move around a lot and I found using 303 Protectorant on the exposed side walls every few months keeps them from cracking. NEVER use Armourall on tires, it has the opposite effect and dries out the tires. 303 is available in any auto parts store or from Amazon in larger quantities.

Mostly your PC can with the Michelin LTX M/S tires. They are light truck tires and come with a six year warranty.

There was a recall on some of these tires, so have your tire guy check them to see if they were included in the recall. If so Michelin will replace them for "free", yes "free" with the newer LTX M/S 2 tires. This includes mounting and balancing. Michelin replaced all seven, including the spare, tires on my PC and it did not cost me anything.

Don't be confused by the talk the class A guys and gals have about their tires as they are made for RVs and have a different rubber compound to make them last longer while sitting.

frecklestweety's tires are before the warranty recall, that was 2012 models.

Also a 6 year warranty is not the life of tire. Your car has a 5 year warranty, doesn't mean that's how long it will last.

michelins ride better because the side wall is weaker. when they blow they  blow out the side wall. I have had 3 to blow.

Keelhualer you might want to reread the recall notice I refered to above. It states tires made between Jan 2010 to Jun 2012. If her PC was made late 2010 it could have tires made earlier that year and be covered.
