PC Cover

Put the PC to bed for the winter.  Cover is a Gold line.  I add a yoga ball on the roof at the rear to avoid water puddle due to the rear rail,  Also add strap in front to reduce flapping.  Cross the straps in back. Easy on and off.  Works good.  Second year with the cover.

Ron, would you happen to know the diameter of the yoga ball you are using?
And do you think it is the right size for the job?

I'm getting ready to put the Gold Line cover on my 2552 and the ball sounds like a good idea.
Last year I stuck a 5 gallon bucket under there but it really didn't work well.

Best regards, Jim G

Jim
The one I use is smaller than 65cm ball. So I think a 55 cm ball would work. I added more air this year and it raised the back cover off the roof better than last year. Mine is a 2551 so one foot shorter. Yours being one foot longer will raise cover coverage more along bottom. You can adjust the air in the ball accordingly. Walmart sells them for $10.
Also. Linda thought of crossing the Two rear straps. That seems to hold cover better.
I use cutup fun noodles to cover sharp areas secured with blue painter tape. Like slide cover ends and rear corner. Old soccer ball for crank up antenna.

I folded cover per PC member recommendation  last time and it made it easier to unfold. Thanks.

Ron, thanks to you and Linda for the helpful reply!
Will order the ball and find some noodles soon.
Will be draining and winterizing today  :'(

Last year I kind of rushed through the covering process and although no damage to the RV or cover seems to have occurred, these gold line covers cost enough that I think more care is in order.
I like the pool noodle idea for corners and covering sharp edges and will do more of that this year.
