Ron, Thanks for the clear explanation on your use of the small battery charger. I think our situation is very similar to yours in that we usually tow our car, only have two house batteries, and no solar charger. So, your comments are very helpful in developing a strategy for house power. Interesting that you can run the coffee maker off the inverter when the batteries are full. On our first dry camping situation that I described earlier, the low battery alarm went off almost immediately although the meters said our batteries started out full. Maybe our coffee maker is an electric over-user.
