That is EXACTLY my point - which is WHY you want to use 6 volts in series instead of 12 volts in parallel.

When I bought the 3100  wonderful Kermit told me they would not fit, two six volts. I have called the company ONCE, I'll  take care of my own problems. I guess I got a " production model" I am some what disappointed as my shower is delaminating. Sorry to vent
