I would suggest getting up on the roof to check the vent pipes. It is simple to do. Remove the screw from the top and pull up the cover. First, check inside the cover for insect nests. Second, look down the pipe for any blockage. Third, flush the pipe with a garden hose. Finally, pour a mixture of water and toilet sanitizer down the vent pipe.
