A rattle i can not isolate

I have a rattle in my 2551 at the end of the upper unit that holds the DVD and adjacent to the door. It sounds like the antenna cable, which probably runs somewhere in that area to get to the DVD. I haven't been able to figure out where i can access any of the areas where the wiring is run to either see the source of the rattle or to fasten it down..

First has anyone had this problem, and what did you do?

Second, how do you get into these areas. For example, it seems that the DVD cannot be removed.

The magic that Kermit does is just befuddling me.

Pry up on the bottom front of the DVD player, it is held down with velcro.

My 2010 2551 had a rattle in the area you describe and it turned out to be the roof antenna.  One of the wings was just toching the roof and it rattled going down the road.  I just bent it up a bit and that stopped it.  Also, when lowering the antenna, be sure to tighten down securely with the crank.

I bought these common thick 1" round felt pads, the kind you place on the bottom of chairs to slide on wood floors.  I stuck them to the bottom of the 4 antenna feet and also on the antenna wing tips.  That horrible rattle is now 100% gone.

I did trim the wing tip pads into strips.  Given the roof has a slope, make sure the wing tip pads make "first-contact".
