Just FYI: My deformed gasket did not leak to the outside.  It was deformed on the inside, causing the drag on valve movement.

That one on amazon is not perfectly square.  It has those indents, not sure if it is the best choice, but maybe it will work just fine.

That's the exact one used by PC to build my unit.  I called Carol when I replaced the black valve and also later on when I did the Grey valve  Mind you, my unit (built in Dec 2014 for the Florida RV show) was the first one that used the Sanicon instead of one like yours.  The Sanicon itself still has the "Engineering Test Unit" label on it from Thetford.

Interesting.  Thanks Don for sharing that.

So the point to other PC owners is to first crawl under your PC and take a look at your waste gates.  The two variations might be interchangable, but why chance it.  Order the exact match.

I AM ALL MIXED UP WITH MYSELF.  Please disregard my previous posts on this subject.

I just looked in my RV spart parts cabinet and looked at my original waste gate that I had removed, cleaned-up, and kept as an backup.  It is THIS ONE with the non-square anglulars.

I AM ALL MIXED UP WITH MYSELF.

There is a large group of us who question those things that don't make sense.  Although membership in the organization is voluntary and not recorded, the initiation procedure is imposed unwittingly.

Although not virtually impossible, working on your motorhome is kind of like doing your own taxes.  Any acquired nomenclature is contradictory and open to interpretation, if even applicable. When calling Customer Support, expect forty different answers from the fifty representatives the phone dialog transfers you through to get one who cares.
