Ron that is a nice looking vet you have there. Two questions about your picture. One did you paint the doors to match the vet or buy the vet to match the doors?. Two is what is that black wire looking thing on the side of your house?
David, I use the Rhino hose kit, which comes with end caps that seal the stink in the hose. I moved the bungee cords in the truck about two inches forward at the bottom. I can now lay the Rhino hose on the floor of the trunk. Works for me. I have not been able to find a good place to mount a hose holder under the motorhome like I did on my previous motorhomes.
I never realized the Vette matched the garage doors.

The Vette came along much later.
The black round wire thing is a garden hose hanger. The picture was taken in the spring, before the hose came out for the season.
I too have a Rhino hose with end caps, but I did also buy a very nice 5 foot long sewage hose storage tube, designed for the application. I think it was $60 with shipping included. I have not yet mounted the tube on my 2007 2350, but I did "quickly" size it up, thinking the best place to mount it is just rear of the 55 gallon fuel tank. The tube's back mounting bracket would mount to the chassis frame. The front bracket by the opening would mount to the underside of the sani-con hose storage housing. That places it's access along with the rest of the poop stuff. In that position, the tube still seems high enough and forward enough to be protected from any road damage. Surely no worse than the mascerator pump.
But the storage tube is not mounted, so my mounting thoughts are not confirmed.
