We were in some heavy winds, both driving and parked, and heard a very loud banging. Remembering what people had said about the antenna, I climbed up on the ladder to check it. Guess what, it was not moving, but the banging was still there. After searching for the location of the noise, I finally located it. On our 2552, and many other units, there is a large steel plate that acts as a heat shield between the generator and the propane tank. It was loose at the securing screws allowing it to swing in the wind and bang against the tank. A check with PC and found it was not needed anymore because the extra foot of length from the 2551 to the 2552 gives plenty of clearance. So I just took it off and sealed the screw holes. No more noise.
