Pioneer GPS AVIV-U280

  The 2019 3100 we bought in 2020 has a Pioneer in dash GPS (AVIC-U280) as part of the in-dash entertainment center. We have been replying mostly on Google Maps for navigation but thought it might be useful to try the Pioneer. When I went to the website (naviextras.com) to find map updates this unit was not listed. If they are going to charge me I would probably not be interested anyway. But should I be looking somewhere else for update info? Or can it be done simply from the indash unit?

You might want to go to someplace like Best Buy or call Pioneer and see if they can help you.  It would appear that Pioneer no longer makes those GPS units but maybe the car audio folks at Best Buy or tech support at Pioneer can tell you what needs/can be done to update the maps for that particular unit.
