Microphone for BT hands free phone calls

My 2021 model 2552 has a very small microphone attached to the headliner in front of the visor.  I am able to pair my iPhone easily to the radio and all of the Bluetooth functions work, but so far no one can hear me talk on the phone.  Has anyone else had this problem?  If so, is there a resolution?  I wonder if the microphone is noise cancelling?  It cab is fairly loud with road noise while underway at highway speeds.

We haven't had any issue with our microphone which I suspect maybe similar to yours.   When we use our paired phone those that we call can easily hear us and we can hear them.  I am not familiar with any mute function but wonder if you don't have a non functioning mike.

Are there settings for microphone and speaker volume in your dash stereo system?

The microphone is very small.  Approximately 1/2" in diameter and maybe two inches long.  I can call my house from the rig sitting still and the house recorder picks up and records.  Listening to incoming phone calls are not a problem, the problem is that the person on the other end cannot hear me.  I'm not aware of any type settings for the microphone itself.

Just returned from getting my 2552 weighed.  While enroute to the truck stop I called my house telephone recorder.  The microphone definitely will not transmit clearly at 50mph.  Once stopped at a stop sign, I could hear myself but barely.  Then I called my recorder with the engine off and I could hear myself, but not well.

So, my take away from this is that the dealer is going to have to look at it and figure out what is wrong.  It should work!
