Generator

Can anyone tell me where the fuse is for the Oman generator is located. I moved the battery cable an I believe I shorted it out. Thanks!

It has a breaker located, i believe, on the side of generator.  I looks like a black switch.

Ron is right.

The circuit breaker is underneath the removable front cover.  It will be to the right of the "Stop/Start" switch, and a little bit lower down on the side of the panel.

Is the issue that the generator has no power to start?    If so, there are "ANL" fuses in the coach battery tray.. Behind the batteries.   They are fairly easy to replace but you MUST disconnect the negative terminal of BOTH the chassis battery (under the hood) and the coach batteries first!

If you are not comfortable crawling under the coach to test and replace the ANL fuse, I strongly advise you find a local RV repair shop.

You can get the replacement ANL fuse from Carol at Phoenix or she can tell you the amp rating you need.

Ignore the above if the generator cranks and starts fine but you get no power inside.   That's the black circuit breaker that is on the generator itself.   Under the cover near the oil fill cap (above and to the left if my memory is correct).  It looks like a wall switch, turn it off to reset and then back on.

Yep, there is a circuit breaker on the generator where others are describing.  Get familiar with it because there will be times when you are running too many 110V things off the generator and that circuit breaker will trip on you.  Don't be shy.  Remove the Onan cover, it's right there, easy to reset.

A word of caution.  MAKE SURE to pay close attention when installing the Onan cover back on.  Because you are working a bit by feel, a few people installed the cover incorrectly and later lost it on the road.  The generator requires the cover for proper cooling, and a new cover is expensive.
