HWH Levelers
« on: September 13, 2020, 10:13:13 am »
Recently after engaging the HWH levelers I started having an issue of two of the levelers retracting on its own.  We first noticed this throughout the night when we heard a sound coming from the levelers and then noticed slowly the levelers were retracting on their own.  They don't go fully retract only partial but they are no longer securing the rig to the ground.  Has anyone else had this issue?  And why is it occurring?  And how do you fix the problem.    When one engages the levelers in a down position they should only retract when you push the bottom to retract them.

thanks

I can't answer your question directly as I do not have levelers, but from your description, it sounds like a hydraulic leak.  Most likely in the control valve.  Again.. that is just a guess based on your description and not any personal experience. Since HWH does all the installation of the levelers, they would be who I would call first.

Our jacks will do this same thing if there's no weight on a particular jack, as occasionally happens.     Don't know if it's normal,  never checked into it,  but have not spotted any leaks.  Mostly just annoying, as it takes a long time
to retract, and you don't really notice til you're in bed and all's quiet.

I just had to replace one of the solenoid valves on our PC. Three of the jacks worked fine.  The right front jack would not deploy.   I spoke with Chuck at Stewart Services in Elkhart and found him very knowledgeable and helpful.  Stewart’s installed the original system for Phoenix.  I had the part within three days.  Relatively simple change out. Their phone number is 800-343-2377.
