Liquid springs

Ron, I just had a thought. (I know mark it down on the calendar. )   Anyway, years back riders were discussing characteristics of using a car tire on a motorcycle. To show what they thought was happening they strapped a Go-pro under the bike and filmed it.  I hav a go pro so I’m thinking on my next loaded trip I’d do the same and film the rear suspension. It will film for roughly 4 hours if I recall which should be more than enough. I just need to find a secure place to mount it.

Planning a trip in early Oct so I’m hoping to try it then. Who knows, maybe I’ll learn something

Volk, I hope so. Loaded I typically run about 8300 lbs which is 1300 under max. I can’t help but wonder if that’s still too much and it’s bottoming out. Maybe my leaf springs are weakening and need a leaf added? I’m hoping maybe this will give me some insight.

Does anyone know what maintenance is required to keep these (LS) operating a peak performance?

I contacted Liquid Springs to get info on weight added by LS. BTW LS is developing LS for front axle as well.

My Question:

Ford E-450 LS gawr is 9600lb. So the axle rating does not change with LS.

My question is how much additional weight, if any, is added to rear axle when LS is installed versus just having stock E-450 rear axle?

I am trying to determine if rear axle can handle LS with a slide out and still be within gawr rr.

Answer:

If you add LiquidSpring to the rear of your coach it will add 90lbs to the front and 190lbs to the rear.
