Wall-mountable Flashlight
« on: March 26, 2018, 11:05:14 am »
We'd like to find a high-intensity flashlight to mount near the door of our 2552.  Most I find are for mounting on a weapon -- not quite what I had in mind.  I've found the giant floodlights -- also not what we need.  Thanks for answers!

Streamlight makes high quality LED lights in various sizes that have 12 volt and 110 volt wall mount charging stations. I have the Stinger HP that has given me years of service. It is exceptionally bright and has a lifetime guarantee. Mine cost $125 with the two charging mounts. Pricey? yes, but I used it at work for making attic inspections and now have it mounted in the cabinet over the passenger seat.

I'm not sure if this is helpful, but we use several inexpensive flashlights which have magnetic attachments.
Always stored on the side of the control panel.  Easily available when needed.  (Our heavy duty flashlight
is stored in drawer.).

Like @cropduster I have a small rectangular LED one with a magnet on the back.  It sticks to the metal of the door frame.  There are dozens of these in different models on Amazon or at any local hardware store.  They are like $10 each.  Get a couple and stick them in the rig wherever.

I also have a Maglite in a dedicated bracket next to the entryway switches.  I brought it with me to the factory and they installed it for me.  The little LED is easier to use but I like the comfort of that big Maglite next to the door.
