Heater/Air Conditioner, 2014 2350
« on: August 11, 2015, 07:09:31 pm »
On our last trip out, we needed the furnace one morning and when the digital thermostat was moved to the "furnace" position, both the heater and air conditioner came on at the same time. After several failed tries to get just the heater, I turned the air conditioner off at the breaker panel and the heater worked fine. On previous trips, each unit has worked independently just fine.
Anybody have a clue as to what may be the problem?

This is a common situation and it has to do with the way the thermostat is set.  The problem is the fan is probably set to ON rather than to AUTO.

What you need to do is push the button for the fan (first click), then change the fan setting to AUTO.  It should now work fine.
