Can you choose not to have the power driver seat?  If so, can you then have have both driver and passenger chairs swivel to face the living area?  Again, many thanks.

The only people who can 'officially' answer that question are at the factory.  But when I placed my order it was my understanding you could get power seat, standard seat or swivel seat.  The chassis is shipped with no seat so PC installs whatever the customer wants.

But again, confirm that with Earl at the factory.

Yes you can!  We have a 2551 (2012)- E450 and have the swivel driver seat.  It is wonderful.  Here is a link to a picture of our setup.

We have a 2012 model and as long as the seats are the same it turns easily--no more difficult then turning the passenger seat.

Met with Earl just last week. I don't want or need the power seat and so requested the driver's swivel seat on a 2017 2552. Its an option although not one encouraged by Earl as PC believes they are hard to get to turn around due to the steering wheel.

The option cost is $150.

I have it put on my 3100, didn't like the angle of the set(front to back of seat), then had it removed

We have the power driver seat in our 2100 and the swivel passenger seat. We love the power seat because as we switch drivers it is so much  easier to readjust with each driver tradde off. Also, I'm only 5' tall and it can be made higher without an added seat cushion.  As to the swivel seat, it is tight in the 2100 because the dinette is right behind it.  But once turned it is my husbands lounge chair when reading and relaxing--but cannot watch TV from it.  Was worth the money for us to have a place for him and an additional chair when company comes calling.

 I agree with you.

Adding that I do most of the driving an find it valuable to change my position while driving to extend my time between rests.  Sometimes I like to tilt the seat backward then forward after a while, raise it and then lower it, change it up to keep me less stiff behind the wheel.

Ron, you have a lucky wife to be chauffeured and have you crawling around under the coach. We share driving about 60% husband, 40% me, but I get to do 95% of the work on the PC that we don't pay someone else to do. And also agree about the tweaks in seat position while driving. We do the same and so easy with the automatic seat.

I never sat in a generic base driver seat so I really don't know what it's like, but I would imagine that it compares to the swivel passenger seat we have which offers a good position with good comfort.  But the power driver seat offers nice change-ups without changing my position in the seat.  I wished airplane seats could do that.
