New to forum part II sofa VS dinette

Hello everyone who responded to our New to Forum on the 23rd. We hope you all had a good holiday.  We are back from high snow country.

Has (does) anyone with a 2551 or 2552 use the driver side bed for a couch/sofa? Or, has anyone customized the bed to act
as a sofa?  Its the right depth (34") but is probably a bit high off the floor.  I was looking at the new Winnebago Fuses 23A
model.  They have made arrangements to use the dual beds as sofas with a movable table.  Although seat height is quite high
off the floor.

We are trying to visualize the best of both worlds.  Dinette for eating and computer work etc.  Couch and Euro chair for lounging.

That looks like a cool idea. PC could put a table support sleeve in the floor and you could store the table under the Drivers side bed. Need to have back cushions added

PC can do anything, those look like simple changes.

I agree with keelhauler.  Ask Phoenix to do as you desire.  And they won't gouge you to do it.

Makes sense with the  TV and windows right there.

I am glad to here that Phoenix might be open to the idea of adding a table and cushions.  Possible they would even
do on a recent used coach.  We have learned that "separation" of living spaces promotes a more harmonious relationship
on those extended trips during inclement weather, or late fall camping when its dark and cold outside.  My lovely wife of 53
years discovered this on our last boat.  We had three separate living areas on a 33' boat. Two with doors   She calls it quiet
time!
