i bet if you guys would get your tow car rolling it would be fairly easy to turn over trying to turn it setting still.
I agree that a rolling vehicle will steer much easier. However, I recently stayed behind a Country Coach pulling a Jeep identical to mine and I was familiar with the area and I knew that he'd be making a sharp right or left turn in the near future. We were on blacktop.
As he turned onto the main highway I watched as his front steering wheels turned a little to follow the rear of the RV; but he literally drug the Jeep on around the turn.
It is like bending a wire over and over; metal fatique sets in.
