first trip

We finally got our new rig (2552) set up.  We enjoyed having unlimited time for the job because it wasn't a swap out.  We went up to Ft Myers for 3 days and the first morning we made a trip to Target to buy the stuff we forgotten  Having been full time for 17 years we forgot how to pack for a trip. Oh boy!  Now we are getting ready for the summer trip. East Tennessee then northern Michigan.  Our daughter and her husband will join us there in their American 40' dream from Indio,CA.  We will stay in Michigan for August then head down to the rally in Nashville.  We look forward to meeting you folks.  After that our two rigs will go to Branson and Tom Sawyer park for a few days.  Then the kids will head back west and we will head east for Naples, our base.  So far the rig has been fine and I'm reading the manuals to avoid as many dumb things as I can.  I'll keep you posted.

Good Luck on you trip, Love our 3100 and we're getting ready to head west this fall for a 2 month trip. Already have 25000 on ours and no real problems. The one big one was the Generator, had bad fuel pump with 2 hrs on it, so run the Gen for a while before leaving. Was a manufacturer problem at the time, so should be fixed. The best thing is to have fun

If you are talking about the Tom Sawyer Park in West Memphis, Arkansas....across the river from Memphis, Tennessee. ...you've made a great choice...that's one of our favorite parks!
