Jensen rear TV issue

When we bought our used 2551, the remote was missing for the Jensen.  The dealership has ordered us 4 remotes now and none of them work.  They are calling Jensen with the serial number etc. and getting the proper parts but none work.  Any ideas?

Universal remotes are sold everywhere for under $10, though I am sure some special features on your TV might not be managed well.  Something to consider if all else fails you.

Ron, wouldn't you think the genuine part should work best?

Got customer service on the phone today with Jenson.  The remote works fine, it's the TV that's broken.

Problem fixed by repairman.  It was the IR in the TV gone bad. 

I wonder if the failure was caused by all the vibrations of the motor home.  We all assume they will hold up to the punishment.  With that said, I am posting a TV/DVD combo sale alert.

Gordon asked the repair man that question.  He said doubt it, just happens sometimes.
