Having lived in Alexandria, LA, many years ago, I fully understand the real frog experience. On the question is the "croak" sound a problem that needs to be fixed--I had the same noise in my previous 2007 2700 PC, and the noise has been consistent for a year+ in my 2010 2350. The noise is not irritating, and I don't feel anything needs to be done. The foot flush toilet would be a nice upgrade, but I personally don't believe it's worth the time, effort and expense to change the toilet. For us, the blade occasionally does not clean on the first flush-but nothing major. A tip on another forum said to put a layer of toilet paper on the top of the water, and the flush is usually clean. That's probably far enough (or maybe too far) on this topic...
