Request for comments on newer Inverter + Converter

I guess you have seen my post about removing the installed battery tray and opening up the battery compartment. I did this to install a 8D sized 400 amp Lithium battery. I currently have a 8D AGM as the house battery.  There are benefits to having one battery, one set of connections etc. I have been looking at the SOK batteries as well. I believe I can fit 2ea 206 AH batteries in the battery compartment. If they don't fit in the compartments current configuration I still have enough room to expand the compartment. My battery compartment is 24 inches wide by 15 inches deep by a little over 12 inches high.  I have enough room to increase the depth to 19 inches or just a little more if needed. So bottom line I am sure I can make them fit. The SOK batteries have some benefits I haven't found in 8D lithium batteries, like heating pads. The 400 amp 8D I was originally looking at is the same price as 2ea 206AH SOK batteries with heating pads. The real issue for me is justifying the expense (cheapskate).

I believe you are going to have to be very creative as there isn't much available room for some of the equipment you may want to install. It does sound like you have a nice coach, I wish I had liquid springs.  It seems those that have them, love them, and I would imagine you'll end-up feeling the same way.

Lance, thanks again for the input.  I wonder if the 6" stretch in the bed section will help with the room for items or will it be wasted space.  I guess I will know by next week.

The 6 inch stretch helps with room under the beds and storage above the beds. Above the drivers side bed you end-up with an additional overhead cabinet door. The storage under the beds isn't as noticeable but there is more. Does your coach have the sliding beds? If so this is going to pose another issue as some of the space below the beds is lost.  On the drivers side bed you end-up with drawers which is convenient but takes away storage space. Like you said once you get the coach you'll have a better understanding of what your dealing with. On my passenger side bed I hinged it so I can open it and access the mechanical equipment below, water pump, water tank, heater, inverter etc. This makes things much easier or your removing a bunch of screws and it takes longer to gain access than complete the job.
