Connector plug in wall behind drivers seat

I was looking inside the transition wall behind the driver's seat to see what make and model of automatic transfer switch I had (another thread discusses this). Pic attached of the faceplate if you're interested.

However, I found a 10 pin connector lying beside it and I'm wondering if anyone else has seen this and knows what it is for?

The space is cramped, but I got a half decent picture of it and attached it.

My mechanic guessed it might be for a secondary fuel Guage wiring harness as e450's when used commercially have 2 fuel tanks.

Any one know about this?

I wonder you rig is wired "solar ready" the connector there for the controller/monitor.  Call or email the factory with some pictures.

If it is a Ford OEM plug, it is part of the standard RV chassis package. It has connections for remote door locks speakers and other things that the RV manufacturer may or may not need or use. I asked my son the same thing, he works for Ford.

Interesting! I've been thinking of adding a touch pad for the door locks so that I don't need to carry a key at the beach or while hiking... This could be an easy way for me to interface. Thanks!!!! I'll get out the multimeter and test if there are any signals that corresponds to lock and unlock.

I wonder how many Ford model years this connector goes back.  I don't recall stumbling onto it in our 2007 E350.

Just one more detail.  My PC is a 2010, but the chassis is a 2008.  Not sure if that helps you with a 2007, but it's only 1 year off.
I'm not going to be able to test this out for a few days... Right now headed to Cape Canaveral to watch the Boeing launch on Friday.
