Interior light

Hi all. I have a 2012 2552 and one of the twin tube fluorescent ceiling lights does not work. Any idea where to obtain one?  They are apparently no longer available from Command Electronics (005-394).  I know the wires in the coach are good as I took another light and verified.  Thanks.

I don't have a direct answer to your question on where to buy new florescent tubes except to search for sales on-line.

But......................

If you are the least bit handy with a soldering iron, consider converting all your existing florescent fixtures to LED.  Florescent lights flutter when the house batteries are less than fully charged, but LEDs shine just a little less bright.  They also use a lot less house battery energy, conserving it for other critical operations.  The LED lighting is very clean and even friendly on our aging eyes.

I converted all 9 of our original florescent fixtures to LED and went a step further adding night-light/mood-light features into each one.  I feel the LED conversion project was one of my "better" modifications.

Actually, I don’t need the tubes, I should have been more clear.  I need the whole light assembly. However, I did see your post on the upgrade and I did give that a thought.  I will revisit and see if that makes sense.

I am here to help if you decide to attempt it.  I encourage to try converting your failed fixture and see how it goes.  If you like the results, then consider the "assembly line" method which will go much more quickly per fixture.

After a lot of searching I finally found LED fixtures that were big enough to replace the original PC florescent fixtures.

On previous PC I converted the old fixtures the way Ron recommends. It worked out great but it was time consuming and, at the time very pricey. And then some of the LED strips adhesive had to be replaced. That why I decided on replacing the whole fixture with new ones from ebay. These were the only LED fixtures that had the width to cover the footprint of the original fixtures.

These are still available on ebay. 13.9W 18.2" LED Ceiling Interior Fixtures Dome Light 12V-28V for RV Camper Boat.

Thank you all very much. I think I figured out the issue being a bad circuit board.  Not worth trying to find a replacement part.
I did watch a video on YouTube and it’s a cake walk to replace.  However, for now, I think I will deal with just the 1 bad light and save a project for later. 
Actually, I did purchase the light on the attached file but it did not work so I returned it.  What are the odds it was a bad light from the factory.  LOL.

I am surprised you found the conversion pricy.  I did the conversion in-part to being extremely affordable, costing only $1.33 for a direct conversion, or $3.50 per fixture when including the extra mood light.

Per my instructions, you needed to add a dab of silicone caulk on the ends of each strip because that is where it starts to peel.  All these years later, everything remains in-contact.
