Picking up my 3100 this week with the enhanced solar controller and all the goodies PC installs.   Does anyone know what systems they are and can offer any advice on what I can read up on before hand?  Thanks and Happy Easter.

You SHOULD have a pretty good line of communication with the PC factory, buying a new 3100.  Can you call and ask them?

Phil,

My info is dated by a couple of years.  I was hoping that someone with a more recent setup would respond.

The whole solar arena is moving rapidly; Phoenix made changes in their setup from 2017 through '18 and '19.  For my 2019, they were still using the Samlex panels, but had moved to the Bogart Engineering TriMetric Solar Charge Controller (SC-2030).  They installed that in conjunction with the TriMetric TM-2030 Battery Monitor and shunt.  In my experience, it is a very good system.  I don't know whether they have made any additional changes in the past two years, but you can visit the Bogart Engineering website (https://www.bogartengineering.com/) to get pretty comprehensive information on those particular components.
