Kurt is a pretty handy guy, and an accomplished DIY'er. He was just exploring the option that someone here might have knowledge of the fiberglass fabricator. We haven a couple boat fabricators that will spray parts of molds for repair sections.
Apparently one can buy the entire back panel, and its $1800. Not a bad price, really. PLUS SHIPPING

... which is 'the stopper' so to speak. It is not worth $1800 to just cut the piece he needs off and ship that to Montana. . He is more than capable of making the repair, its just a LOT easier when you have a section, especially with formed holes, etc.
I need to take my rear hatch off anyway, might not be too hard to spray some PVA on mine and splash a quick mold.

I suggested trying LKQ to see if there MIGHT be a PC in their system...
