Scanguage 2
« on: May 20, 2020, 09:08:53 am »
Think I’ve just sold my Chinook which I had added subject and will be leaving it with it.  Just received a new scanguage and will be installing today in the PC.  I know I will program trans temp, water temp, and voltage.  Leaves one slot open.  What say you for this 4th slot?

I have mine set at trans temp, water temp, voltage and MPG. MPG because I like seeing I can get 100 mpg going downhill.  :lol

That’s what I ended up for the settings .took the 3rd set of parameters for the transmission temp to display.  Found a nice cubby top center of the dash that pops out with a little persuasion.  Gauge wouldn’t quite fit in the hole so cut a bezel from a nice scrap of walnut.  Cut to slip the gauge into that, then double stick tape to attach bezel to plastic cubby.  Drilled hole in the back of the cubby and routed cable behind dash and out into the cubby.  The gauge is friction fit in the bezel and can be easily pulled out if need to.
