Macerator compartment labels

Macerator compartment labels

Not exactly sure what to make of it, but checking out the pictures of the different models on the PC website I found that the gray/black electric valve switches and the gray/black flush valves are labeled differently on four different units.  I wonder if these valves are actually in different locations or just mislabeled?  I am sure that on my unit the black electric valve is on top and the gray on the bottom, but I'm not sure about my flush valves.

The tanks are reversed on the two main styles of units. Some units have a smaller grey water tank and larger black water tank. Others have a smaller black tank and larger grey. It has to do with the way the tanks fit under the rig with the different bathroom configurations. It's possible this tank location change is the reason the valves may be swapped.

Ah!  Makes sense.  Since mine were not labeled at the factory I'll crawl under there to verify my configuration.

The top valve is for the tank on the passengers side and the bottom is on the drivers side. Based on where the toilet is in the floor plan tells you which is black. If the toilet is on the passengers side than top is the black tank like on the 2551/2552.  If The toilet is on the drivers side, then the lower valve is the black tank, like on the 2350.

When I got my 2350 last fall from the original purchaser (he only kept it ten months), he pointed out that the labels on the black and gray tanks were reversed.  He said they told him they just got them on backwards at the factory.  First thing I did was crawl under and confirm the error and then simply reverse the labels.   So, now black is black and gray is gray.
