VIN for insurance
« on: July 16, 2018, 03:43:58 pm »
We just made our first attempt to get an estimate of what insurance will cost us but were told they need a VIN first.  How do VIN's work for the PC family of motor homes?  Will it start out as just the E450 chassis and get reregistered or does PC designate what will be built on each chassis as they acquire them?  I want to be sure I'm insuring the entire rig not just the chassis it rides on.

Thanks,
Gary

Gary,
The chassis VIN is the final vehicle VIN.  I suggest asking someone at PC to take a picture of your unit's VIN and email it to you.
