Bathroom and Kitchen Backsplash?
« on: April 19, 2018, 08:52:56 am »
We have a 2910D in production.  I was reviewing the 2018 2910T walk through and wondered if Phoenix has ever offered a back-splash in the kitchen and bathroom areas?  Seems like this would be a welcomed idea given the wooden paneling in the areas.

Happy RV'ing!

Mike :)

The only backsplash I have seen was installed by the owner (except the mirror). We had the mirror left off and added an electrical outlet next to the stove. I am still on the hunt for my backsplash.

We dumped the mirror and added a stainless sheet.  It reflects enough light to sort of duplicate the effect of the mirror but also allows us to stick a bunch of magnet held stuff on there.  Works very well for kitchen utensils and so on.

I also ordered the stainless steel.  Had to get it elsewhere and have it sent to the factory.  I had mine cut so it came out farther on the wall than the mirror.  Course that was one of the PC screw ups - even though Earl helped me with the size to order, he didn't tell the line to drop the mirror.  Then even though they admitted it was their fault and told me they would replace that wall (you can't remove the mirror without damage to the wall) - that was the lie.  They just put the metal over thinking I would not notice the damaged wall was still there.  And yes I told Earl to his face how I felt about that lie.

Make sure if you opt for something other than the mirror that they really do not glue that sucker on as it comes down the line.
