Very good point on the size, EPA and other DOT requirements. It is niche van.
Also good point on the mix. Ford would have to change the GVWR, and maybe a lot of the above requirements.
to be directly competitive with the Sprinter.

I sent a note to the Ford VSO Option Development Dept. They do a lot of different things. One is the re-rating
of chassis for large fleet owners. Just asked if there was any thought about increasing GVWR on the Transit.
The response was interesting. see attached. At least they are thinking about it.
