Hi All,

The Dream Dinette hardware system was shared on another forum.  Has anyone here had first hand experience with one, or know someone who has one?  I'd like to hear from you.  It looks interesting enough to consider getting.  I do have one concern for it looks like it has the potential to rattle while driving, and maybe not steady enough when setup as a table.

Our dinette has the old style 2-pole system which works, but the table legs interfere with leg room and it isn't the easiest to convert from a dinette to a bed.

I would also like to read replies from people who own the current-day PC dinette hardware that has a single leg on the out edge.  Does your single-leg system rattle when you drive?

We have the swing leg fold down table.  It puts down quickly and easily. Biggest hassle is getting the cushions out of the way and it appears in the photos of the Dream Dinette that the cushions still have to be move. No noise or rattle. As you can see in the photo, I have put a rug under the table. Don't know if that helps or not.

Ron: No experience with the dream dinette, but did see a few just recently as we looked at some class A's. Fairly easy setup and would be comfy for those that like a firm mattress (not me)  Lots of YouTube videos on them, but definitely not the same as first hand experiences.

We also saw a neat looking, very easy to set up, system that Fleetwood uses.  Check out this YouTube video and fast forward to the 6:00 minute mark:

Hmmm, I just noticed that Fleetwood calls this type of dinette a 'Dream Dinette' too.

We had one in our last RV, a 2008 Forest River Lexington.  Their biggest drawback is you can NOT adjust the height once it's installed.  It was stable once up and easy to put up or down but it was always too high when up. Because of the way Lexington built their motorhomes back then, the wallmount sat on a 3" lip (wherr watet pipes rsn) so we hated it.

donc13,

Your comment is concerning because our 2350 has the same type of lip, and it's a lot taller than 3" as seen in my picture.  Having the table sit taller would be very annoying to us as well.  With your comment in my head now, I looked again at the document and see on page 8 that it shows the wall bracket going all the way down to the floor.  The height of our table is perfect right now.  I don't want to mess with a good thing trying to make it a great thing.  The Dream Dinette is no longer a consideration for me with our 2350.

Thanks for sharing that.
