I want to extend a big thank you to the great forum members that have come to our aid over the past year and a half.

We have enjoyed our 2100 but have chosen to go back to the class B life.   Our experience with the folks at PC is second to none and will express those feelings to folks interested in a class C.

Safe travels to all.  Hope to see some of you as we continue traveling.

Gail and Hal

Well dang. . .and we just got here.  Thanks for your help when we were headed to FL to buy "Fawkes".   tymote  Happy trails to you both in your B.  If you happen to get on the Escapees Forum, there is a Class B Forum if you scroll down to RV types.  Not a lot of traffic, but then we just got there too since it also covers B+ RVs  :lol   :)(:

Glad I was able to help.   Enjoy your PC.   I am on two forums and  will check out the Escapees forum.   We have a few friends that are Escapee members,  two live in two of their FL parks.  Thanks for the nice wishes.

You've been a wonderful forum contributor, Gail.  Sorry to see you go, but happy to hear you will continue your travels.  Keep in touch and maybe we'll catch up to one another in Florida yet!

Gail, thanks for your help and advice.  We still don't own a PC, but growing up with three travel trailers and now using any of several tents and Jeep-camping or Dad's Roadtrek, plus noting the compromises inherent between any of these vs. Class A with toad vs. (my latest rumination) a slide-in pop-up pickup camper or light expedition-worthy Class C like a Provan Tiger Bengal (either of which occasionally with toad), or a Sportsmobile, I more than understand your going from one class of vehicle to another as needs or desires change.  Years ago, I recall Redd Foxx saying (or it being said of him) that he had a different car (perhaps a Rolls) for each day of the week.  Maybe that's what we all need!  Take care.

Carol,  Thanks for the kind words.   I just know we are going to meet somewhere warm  What we drive doesn't matter.

Michelle,  I will check in here from time to time and follow your search for what is best for your needs.   With your vast knowledge of RV types I'm sure you will find just the right one.  Would love to meet you perhaps we will in San Diego.  Our daughter and son-in-law thought that would be a wonderful place to come to test out our new B.  I agree.

Gail, thanks for all of your help to me and others on this forum.  Enjoy your return to a B and your test drive to SSC (Sunny Southern California).  In a B, the journey is more than half of the fun of any trip.

Paul,

You are very welcome.   I'll be around, not posting but, to keep up with all the forum members.   There is always the private message feature.

We have a couple trips planned  and look forward to another CA visit.  Our first test will be in our driveway since we now have a 30amp receptacle to run AC and everything else here at home.

Keep in touch with your plans.   I am interested.

Gail

Sure Gail, most anytime.  Depending on pending minor wage increases that'd keep me working a few more years vs. retirement now because I'm a grumpy old burnout, we may be around or may not.  Knowledge?  Some.  I just read a lot; many others on this forum have more relevant experience than I have from my parent's trailers and tow vehicles of the '60's and '70's, or Dad's 20-yr old Roadtrek!  Take care.
