I just happened upon this map. I don't know if it was posted on the forum before but figure it can't hurt to toss it out there.
https://www.fs.fed.us/ivm/index.html You can see NFS locations all over the US and zoom down to drill into the individual areas. You can click down through the levels to reach one specific area and get a short-ish description for it then scroll down inside that description box and click again to get to the website for that location. I've done a few quick drill downs and got info on regular campgrounds as well as primitive and disbursement camping.
Pretty cool.
