Modified the back DVD for cosmetics

We didn't like the DVD player over the back bed in the 2551 being so exposed underneath so DH built a frame for it.  I'm so please how it turned out.

Ha, ha, ha.  Before I read your post in detail, I was thinking you removed the DVD player and stored cosmetics in the DVD cubbie.

I did not realize the bedroom DVD player is typically installed without an enclosure.  That does look very nice.

I wonder why the factory does not install a TV in the bedroom with the DVD player built inside it?  I bought a Toshiba TV/DVD and it serves us very well.  We use it much more than the main TV watching DVDs exclusively because we boon dock all the time in remote places without reception.  The smaller 19" widescreen bedroom TV uses so much less energy than our main 26" TV with old back-lighting technology before the days of LED back-lighting.
