Weighing Your Rig

In case anyone is traveling south for the winter and wants to get their rig weighed, the Escapees RV club has a SmartWeigh station at three of its RV parks:  Florida, Texas, and Arizona.  I've used the one in Florida (at the Sumter Oaks RV Park south of Bushnell, just a couple of miles off of I-75) and it was well worth it.  I'll try to post a link here but if the link doesn't work, you can just type in www.escapees.com and go to the knowledge page, then click on SmartWeigh under that.

Safe travels, everyone, and enjoy your autumn weather, wherever you are!

While it's not as good as Escapees, which gives you the weight for each corner, closed weigh stations in Oregon leave the scales on so you can just pull in and get the weight on sack axle. Better than not knowing at all. Other states may do the same, I just stumbled across it in Oregon.
