I must say I enjoy driving my 3100 very much and I do think the longer wheelbase makes a huge difference in handling, at least as compared to the 2551 I had. I do most work myself so I did add all of the bells and whistles like Bilstiens, front and rear Hellwig stabilizer bars and new Raodmaster steering stabilizer. I wish I could say I noticed a "huge" difference but I can not. The coach goes into a corner with absolutely no body roll, I feel minimal truck draft, I get zero nose diving with heavy braking and the coach goes down the road dead straight. Towing my Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk has no influence on the vehicles handling. Was it worth what I invested ..."yes" because it made for a safer vehicle, was it unsafe from the factory...no. The only issue I have is I do think the ride is rough, I run 70 PSI in the front and 75 PSI in the rear, with out the fuel and water tanks full she can be very harsh on secondary roads. The E-450 is one tough chassis. Thanks, Ron G.
