Yes, Holly> The microwave is lower in the 2910 than in either the 2551 or 2350. For me, that was a blessing. I don't need a step stool to retrieve hot dishes out of the microwave. We use the microwave alot when we are travelling during the summer months. I rarely use the stove. It's either the microwave, toaster oven, electric fry pan or our gas grill so there is no issue for me with the microwave being closer to the cook top.
