Help !! I am setting up a Honda CR V 2013 to tow 4 wheel down. I am using a Road Master tow bar and
mounting bar. also the Road Master instabrake system 8700. What is the best type of lighting system to use?
The one with the diodes or cut in light units Thanks  JAS

Diodes are most commonly used in tail lights wired for towing.  To be honest, the only other method I know of are the "extra" lights you attach to the tow vehicle with magnets.

Here is a very good link to the different ways to accomplish the lighting system
http://www.roadmasterinc.com/products/accessories/electrical.html.

We tow a 2004 Chevy Cavalier and installed new taillights using the bulb and socket kit.  It has worked very well for us and is easy to just plug the toad into the PC.

The advantage of using the bulb and socket kit or magnetic lights is you do not cut into the toads electrical system thus eliminating any question about vehicle warranty.
