Balloon festival in NY

For those of you that might be in the Lake George, NY area this coming weekend, there is a large balloon festival.  We plan on going up there to it with some friends of ours (the Parsleys).

My understanding is that all the dry camping spots at the airport are taken.

We went to this festival back in the late 1990s and had a great time. When our friends said they where going because it was on her mothers bucket list to ride in a hot air balloon, we jumped on going again. We will be lunching on a boat on Thursday. Upper crust types. heehee.

Sounds like alot of fun!  That's my neck of the woods. Originally from Connecticut, I spent many a day/night camping in the Adirondacks (Long Lake, Forked Lake). Can't wait to get back there, and we are envious!  Are you really going up in a balloon though??

Not me. I can't stand to leave the ground.  My friend Jane's (mid 60s years old) mother (age unknown, maybe in 90s) wants to go up. I think she is crazy.

Aww, Tom, You only live once. I'd do it in a heartbeat... and I'm afraid of heights.
