We had a 2008 2350 and we now have a 2012 2551 and can do some comparisons for you.  We are in Southeastern Michigan and if you are in the area you are welcome to stop by and we can talk about our PC's.

Ok, you guys can keep your teddy bears. No hard feelings here.

Thanks to all for the welcome and great feedback.  We've been looking since sold our MH in Jan. and even stopped by the PC factory in July while they were down but was raining and didn't ask to test drive though Kermit was helpful and gave the best tour he could under circumstances.
Chris(wife) wouldn't even go in the 2350 but I'm interested for maneuverability and doing without a dinghy.  Bed might be issue since I'd be on inside with reduced legroom, also she brings a lot of stuff.
If we get the longer 2552 would probably tow a car and concerned how I'd do at the gas pumps and all the stops Chris insists making at every little fruit or pecan stand with limited space.  Anybody ever done a U-turn in 2552?  I recall driving an extended 3500 Chevy van and it had a huge turning radius.

There is no doubt that towing a toad does limit you some and you do have to think ahaead  so to not get into a situation where you have to back up.  The turning radius with the long wheeelbase (I have the 3100) like what is under the 2552 is not great that is for sure.  My 38' Class A turned sharper than the E-450 does but with that said again you just have to think ahead  and you will not have any trouble.  While everyone has their own preferances when it comes to floor plans that work for them i would have to agree with your wife 100% on this one...corner beds just do not work for most individulas regardless if you take a teddy bear to bed or not.  About the time I called someone in my household a teddy bear I think I would be sleeping on the front sofa with a real "teddy bear" for quite sometime!!!!!Best of luck,  and I am sure  you will love the 2552

The maximum degree of wheel cut that you have requested is not a measurement that we normally make. However, we do have the turning diameter of the E-350 and E-450 DRW cutaways. Turning diameter is defined as the diameter of the outside track made by the outside front tire during the shortest turn. When comparing competitive truck specifications, be sure to note whether they specify a diameter or radius dimension.

The Curb to Curb measurement is the turning diameter in feet to the outer front tire. The Wall to Wall measurement is the turning diameter in feet to the outer corner of the bumper. The turning diameter is the average of left and right turns with standard tires.

Mercedes says their Sprinter with 170" chassis is 54.6' wall-to-wall, so it must have a slightly sharper wheel cut.  Now if its nearly linear then the 2552 turning diameter should be about 72' or 6 lanes of road which pretty much rules out a U-turn with toad which would be a gutsy thing anyway.
